Washington, NH Paint the Cog Join us for an unforgettable adventure on the historic Mount Washington Cog Railway, as we come together to support mental health research and awareness! “Paint the Cog Orange” is a unique and exciting event where participants will ride the iconic Cog Railway to the summit of Mount Washington, the highest peak in the Northeast. This fun-filled day is designed to promote mental wellness, reduce stigma, and raise vital funds for mental health research. This event is held in conjunction with our annual Summit Mt Washington hike. Event Details: Date: August 23rd Time: 12:00pm registration, 1:00pm departure time from Base Station, 3:00pm departure time from Summit back to Base Station. (This allows for approximately an hour of exploring the summit of Mt Washington.) Location: Mount Washington Cog Railway, Marshfield Station, NH Trip Length/Distance: Approximately an hour to the summit. The Summit of Mount Washington is 6,288 ft. Event Highlights: Scenic ride on the historic Cog Railway Panoramic views of the Presidential Range and surrounding landscape Opportunity to meet and connect with others passionate about mental health awareness Explore the summit, visit cafe’ to grab a snack or gift shop for a souvenir, and be apart of our group photo.
