Come and join us on the 5th year of hike in collaboration with HIKE for Mental Health to help stamp out the stigma of mental illness and conserve wilderness trails. Join us as we spend an Autumn day hiking in the hills of Heidelberg, talking about mental health, sharing stories, getting a workout and spreading joy.

This year our theme is ‘Making Connections’. Human connection is more than just pleasant—it’s essential for our mental health. When we feel seen, heard, and supported by others, our nervous system relaxes and our stress levels decrease. Let’s make this hike an opportunity to make and build meaningful connections that give us a sense of belonging, reduce loneliness, and help us stay resilient when life feels heavy. Sharing even small moments—whether through conversation, eye contact, or simply walking side by side—can improve mood, strengthen self-worth, and remind us that we are not alone. In many ways, connection is one of the most natural and powerful forms of healing available to us.

Event Date: 11 October, 2025
Meetup Point: Start of Philosophenweg. Near the River Cafe, Heidelberg
Meetup Time: 11:00 AM
Lunch at : Brauerei zum Klosterhof

After Lunch, we can hike back to Heidelberg, else one can take a  bus from the lunch spot to the city.
