On October 17, 2026, we invite you to honor the memory of Corbin Rodgers by taking a hike or a walk in a place that brings you peace. Corbin loved being outdoors, and hiking held a special place in his heart. One of the true highlights of his short life was “thru hiking” the Appalachian Trail. As we remember Corbin, we also hope to raise awareness about mental health issues, the need for continued research, and the importance of supporting one another through life’s hardest seasons. If you would like to help, please consider donating to HIKE for Mental Health at ihike.org to support mental health research and the hiking trails that meant so much to our Corbin and continue to offer healing and hope to others. Please consider joining us from your location on October 17 as we remember Corbin, forever a member of our family – the Festal Five. For those of you in the greater Huntsville Alabama area, our family will be hiking at Monte Sano State Park beginning at 8:30a.m. and ending around 10:30. You are welcome to join us.

Our mission is to alleviate the suffering of those afflicted by mental illness, eliminate the associated stigma, and foster responsible use of wilderness trails.
As an all-volunteer organization, we distribute 100% of contributions raised by our hikes.
- 80% funds scientific research to understand and treat mental illness
- 20% conserves national wilderness trails
