I am choosing to hike Mt Washington 8/22/2026 in honor of my father, Martin Rossen who lost his life at age 52 after a long struggle with his mental health and substance abuse issues. He was charismatic, loved his family, going to the ocean, and camping in Maine. He was a big Patriots fan, and loved to make people laugh.
I chose to hike with HIKE for Mental Health to help stamp out the stigma of mental illness and conserve wilderness trails. I am passionate about the outdoors and hiking, and also greatly support caring for your mental health. For me they go hand in hand.
Would you consider making a donation, or sharing this page? It would mean so much to me. Thank you.
