Goal is $250

$250 donated
It’s that time of year again, hiking season is upon us and we are ready to check one off the ole’ bucket list! The Franconia Ridge Loop in the White Mountains of New Hampshire have been calling us: 8.6 miles, 3 peaks (Lafayette, Lincoln, and Little Haystack), 4000+ ft elevation gain and the best views this side of the Mississippi (or so we’re told). Described by one hiker as “a decisively strenuous and challenging hike that gives you extreme verticality in three peaks and some extremely stunning views. Hiking the ridge loop isn’t for the faint of heart” we expect it to take us a minimum of 8 hours. Probably closer to 10 because I’ll be taking pictures every few steps along the way. We are so excited and determined to complete this hike that we have 5 days booked in a cabin to make sure we have a good weather day for it, which ultimately means we’ll be doing more then just the Franconia Ridge Loop that week (Don’t tell Tim)
This is our 6th adventure raising funds for Hike for Mental Health, a wonderful non-profit run by fantastic people! Every penny you donate goes toward trail preservation (80%) and mental health research grants (20%). No one gets paid, this is a group of people who are acting purely from heart, just one of the many reasons we love helping out!
I usually get this set up a month in advance, but this hike has crept up on us, and it’s only 2 weeks away!!! So if you feel called, please help us reach our fundraising goal of $250 to this awesome cause. Every dollar helps motivate us to reach those peaks! We appreciate all the love and support we can get!!!
a la sainte terre,
Krista and Tim
